Description
Adolf Hitler Spoon, Formal State Dinner Pattern, 800 Silver.
An historical German artifact, a 7 1/4" silver dinner spoon, in the pattern used by Adolf Hitler for formal state banquets – featuring a raised eagle and Nazi swastika along with the initials "AH" on the handle. There is a Grecian border which distinguishes it from the informal pattern.
It is marked on the reverse for the .800 silver purity, and with hallmarks for the German maker, Bruckmann; there is a crescent, a crown, "800", and a Prussian eagle.

Hitler’s formal pattern silver sets were used at The Eagle’s Nest, the Berghof, and the Berlin Reich Chancellery for Hitler and his guests between 1939-1945, and there were a total of about 3,000 overall pieces made, or approximately 200 settings.
